With the opening of school year 2014-2015, the Guidance Services Center of CPC welcomed freshmen and transferees with an orientation, June 11 at the San Lorenzo Event Center, CPC Arnaldo Boulevard Campus.
Headed by Prof. Raymunda Dela Cruz, RGC and with the help of guidance counselors and staff, the said orientation aimed to educate students regarding basic information about the institution, including the school administrators and heads of offices.
Guidelines on appropriate student behavior inside the campus were also tackled. The school uniform policy was discussed by the two Heads of Discipline, Mr. Lionel Parce and Engr. Nilo Diestro.
Ma. Emilda Baranda, Campus Ministry Coordinator, also talked about the services for Christian Formation. Rev. Fr. Michael B. Vasquez, Dean of Student Affairs, also talked also about the fire and earthquake drills, among other Student Development Programs which can help the Purisimian students.
Representatives from various offices also provided information regarding the services offered by the school. Lastly, the different campuses and facilities were shown.
The Guidance Services Center also gave an award to the entrance exam topnotcher as well as surprise gifts to randomly selected students who attended the orientation.
