More than 350 student officers from 40 of the school’s councils, clubs and organizations, recorded as of press time, gathered at the Grand Gazebo Event Hall and took their pledges of service and formalization of officer-ship at the Mass Induction held in the evening of July 27.
The Supreme Student Pastoral Council (SSPC) organized the event under the supervision of the Office of the Student Affairs (OSA). Dressed in formal Filipino attire, the officers of the school from every department and college gathered to bond and dine in the said event.
After the dinner, the oath taking ceremony began with Rev. Fr. Michael Vasquez, Dean of the Student Affairs leading the SSPC officers as they took their oath. Ms. Faye Roselle Faeldonea, the Chairperson of the Student Electoral Board led the rest of the officers.
“The aim of mass induction is a sort of acquaintance party of officers, regardless of the organization. It’s a great venue for us to meet…” said Jee Marie Zaragoza, SSPC President.
